Its origin would be found in the years prior to the time of the Catholic Monarchs, in compositions that were known as “Castilian seguidillas”, Over time they evolved and became flamenco, dance was added in the 18th century until reaching the songs and dances with which they are currently named.
It is included among the flamenco styles.. They arrived at the Seville Fair the same year it was founded with the name that characterizes it., although they were not legally recognized with that term by the Royal Spanish Academy of the language until the 1884 which was included in the dictionary of the Spanish language. Currently it is the most danced regional dance in Spain and abroad., since there are numerous professionals and dance academies spread around the world, to teach sevillanas dancing, hubs, flamenco and a long etc from this same branch.
